March Book Discussion - Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm

Philip Pullman, author of The Golden Compass trilogy among other popular books has updated the original Grimm fairy tales - including several lesser known tales.

Chosen by poll as the March book and confirmed in January's meeting, we will return to tales we may not remember reading quite like these. Fans of recent TV shows Once Upon a Time or Grimm should find something to love and these are some of the original "paranormal" tales for those of you who love those.

We've decided to push to the 4th Wednesday to avoid SXSW dates.

Please remember to make suggestions for future books

Arrive early to grab a snack or a drink and visit with the group. Look for the meetup sign and the book on the table. We are usually upstairs by the cooking school. Our discussion will start promptly at 7:30 and we'll wrap it up at 9:00.

Looking forward to seeing you then.

I didn't finish the book either. I think it would be better if started reading Avalon High and go to the next meetup on April 10th.

Since this one was a bunch of stories it's fine to come and discuss what you did read. If not, I look forward to seeing you next month. Luckily Avalon High is much shorter and a pretty easy read.

You are welcome to come discuss the stories you did read. But if it doesn't work tonight I hope we see you next month.
