CARROLLWOOD PLAYERS: Noises Off and Dinner at Chiles

This is a comedy;  This is suppose to be the funniest play ever written for Broadway, so they say.   Come join me and let's find out.   I have set the limit for 15, as that is what I have made reservations for.  If it goes beyond that and you want to go, either call the Carrollwood Players or go on their website and make a reservation.   You pay when you get there, but you need to be there at least 30 minutes prior to the show or they can sell your ticket.  Show starts at 3:00.  Ticket prices are 18.00, and 15.00 for a senior.

    Sharon,
If I don't get a ticket for the play, I still will join you folks for dinner.

I'm confused. Bobbie, how did jump before Daniel. It doesn't matter cause he has his own reservations. I'm just wondering what I missed.

      July 27, 2014

    • Sharon B.

I get it now. Daniel has a plus 1 and that's why people jump ahead of him.

Hi Sharon I have a family emergency and can't make the play I am changing my RSVP
    Now. Sorry.

I need to remind you again that CARROLLWOOD PLAYERS DOES NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS OR DEBIT CARDS, they only take cash and checks.

I just had a call from Carrollwood Players wanting to know if I still needed 15 seats and to call if I didn;t. I did not call them back and from what I can see, there should be at least 4 vacant seats, due to pull outs and people making their own reservation.

Sharon I made my own reservation but I think I may have been one of the first 15 and already had a reservation through you. Is there someone else who can use my reservation?

    July 26, 2014

    • Sharon B.

I think Daniel made his own reservation. Sharon made her own reservation, Elaine made her own reservation, Ashley told me last week that she was going to be out of town, and then there's you, Barbara. Bobbie, that leaves you on the waiting list. I think we got some open spots unless these people gave their spot to someone else

I still have my separate reservation so if someone can use that ticket they can meet me there and take that ticket as after I did that I learned I was one of the 15 that had reservations and tickets through the group

I have been sick and would like to change my rsvp to no, so if there is someone who would like my ticket, I am on the original list of 15, I think so Sharon Brown would need to confirm that. So sorry to miss this, but need to. Hope someone can use the ticket Sandy

    July 25, 2014

    • Sharon B.

yes, you were and two people have made their own reservation.

    Sharon, I changed my RSVP.

Sorry. I'm going to have to leave town this afternoon. I hope someone can take my place! Have fun!

For those who have never been here before Carrollwood Players only accepts cash and checks. They do not accept debit or credit cards.

Just to confirm - I am on this group's list to attend - so I do not need to contact the theatre directly - is that correct? I understand I need to be there no later than 2:15 to purchase. There have been a lot of comments on this - so I would appreciate someone clarifying as this is my first outing with this group. Looking forward to it.

Karen if you are not on the wait list, you have a ticket. I have 15 confirmed seats for Young at Heart.

Can I still go if I get my own ticket? I can still meet up with the group and then meet you at Chilli's.

    July 22, 2014

    • Sharon B.

Yes, if you can get your ticket. Better yet, check with Elaine cause she made a reservation and she didn't need to. She was on the original 15. I don't know if she cancelled it.

      July 22, 2014

  • Sharon B.

Elaine, you did not need to reserve a ticket. Looks like you are part of the 15 tickets reserved. I was talking to the people who are on the waiting list. The Chiles we are going to is a couple miles down the road. It is across from Citrus Park Mall.

    July 19, 2014

    • Elaine S.

Sorry i misunderstood. Shall i cancel the reservation i made directly. Don't want to create any problems or confusion

      July 19, 2014

    • Sharon B.

If it's a no show, they will sell your ticket. You are covered under Young at Heart.

A friend who was going with me just found out she cannot attend, so there is one more spot available. Also, based on posts i saw on the site I just went online and reserved a ticket for myself. I will plan to get there early so I can meet up with you all, and then join you for dinner at Chilis. Can you tell me which Chilis just in case something goes wrong and I dont find you at the theatre, so I know which Chilis you are going to. Thanks. Elaine

I see two people on the waiting list have made reservations already. That is Daniel and Sharon. If the rest of you want to make sure you get in, visit Carrollwood Players website and secure a spot. It is only a week away.

    July 18, 2014

  • Sharon

I went ahead and made my reservation on their website so I will be there somewhere and join up with you for dinner.

    July 18, 2014

  • Arlene S.

Thanks Sharon, I will get there early also.

    July 14, 2014

  • Sharon B.

You can get it the same day. Just get there early cause if you get there after 2;30 they can sell your ticket. I will probably get there between 2 and 2:15. The show starts at 3:00.

    July 13, 2014

  • Arlene S.

Hi, I am one of the 15 going. Do I have to go over there to get my ticket ahead of time or just be early to get it the same day as we are going.

    July 13, 2014

  • Sharon B.

If you are on the waiting list, please feel free to lock in your reservations. They do sell out depending on the show. I made reservations for 15 not knowing how many people would sign up. If you haven't prepaid, they can sell your ticket if you are not there at least 30 minutes prior to the show.

I made reservations already. First time going here just moved to Tampa area some months ago. I have one or two friends I mentioned this to and they both said they'd like to go. Is it expected to be a packed performance or is there a fair leeway arriving at the box-office on the night of the performance and getting in?

Would love to but I'll be away that week. Next time.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
