Run around Lake Eola - 1st Wed

As this went so well last time, I thought I'd make it a monthly event.

While the weather is nice and it's light out until late, it seems like a good time to run around Lake Eola downtown. There's a nice Wikipedia page about the Lake, which apparently is actually a sinkhole.

Afterwards, let's grab dinner at Drunken Monkey, only five minutes away on Bumby and it is awesome.

I'd suggest appropriate shoes for running. We're all considerate runners, so no need to worry about getting ditched. It's also a nice walk around the lake.

There's street parking all around the lake area as well as 2 parking lots (possibly more), so you should be able to park for free. I like to walk anyway, so I've taken to parking around Livingston St or Ridgewood St just north of Lake Eola. An abundance of parking exists near nearby.

I'll be at the Panera until 7:15 or so. My cell is (407)[masked] (Jason). Dan's cell is (407) 382-3547.

Thanks to everyone that came out. We had 11 people, 3 dogs, and wonderful weather.

Glad to hear it. Just turned in my assignment like 3 minutes ago. It is fortuitous that I stayed in, but sorry I missed it. Thanks again Dan!

Jason may not make it tomorrow, so I'll be the backup host. I updated the event info to include my cell #.

If anyone misses us at Panera, we'll do our usual run (counterclockwise). Go clockwise to find us faster. I'll be wearing a white shirt and blue shorts. I won't have my phone once we start (at 7:15pm). Some people will walk, and yes, dogs are allowed at the park. See you tonight!
