Run around Lake Eola - 1st Wed

As this went so well last time, I thought I'd make it a monthly event.

While the weather is nice and it's light out until late, it seems like a good time to run around Lake Eola downtown.  There's a nice Wikipedia page about the Lake, which apparently is actually a sinkhole.

Afterwards, let's grab dinner at Drunken Monkey, only five minutes away on Bumby and it is awesome.

I'd suggest appropriate shoes for running.  We're all considerate runners, so no need to worry about getting ditched. It's also a nice walk around the lake.

There's street parking all around the lake area as well as 2 parking lots (possibly more), so you should be able to park for free.  I like to walk anyway, so I've taken to parking around Livingston St or Ridgewood St just north of Lake Eola.  An abundance of parking exists near nearby.

I'll be at the Panera until 7:15 or so.  My cell is (407) 212-7877.

I'll be a little late (due to a late work meeting). I'll run clockwise to catch up with you.

I'm coming straight from leg day at the gym, so I will be setting the slow pace if anyone wants to join!

How many laps are usually completed?

I'd say 3-5 laps (depending on if you walk/run). That averages to 5K.

Hey, guys and gals, who feels like suiting up as a superhero or other random outfit for this run? Or maybe with more time for the next one on the 20th?

Hehe, should be fun, Dan. I realized after last time that I could have also jumped off of something into the air.
