A member of another groupI know is a member of this MeetUp. The description of this group sounds like fun to me as I enjoy the company of people around my age.

What Eileen is saying about this Meetup Group

Enjoyed meeting the group that attended this event. All the women were friendly and open to sharing and good listening. Lou cared very much to ensure we all got around the museum, met up in time for dinner and he so caringly gave three women a ride home to the Rego Park/Forest Hills area. I do not usually get in a car with a man I met just a few hours before, but I made an exception with Lou. I joke, of course There were two other women in the car, still joking. If you knew my sense of humor, you would get it. I look forward to MeetUps with this group again.

Eileen, I see a guy just started a 50 plus Forest Hills based activity meet. I'll admit I'm seven months shy of that magic number , but he took me under his wings anyhow. Would prefer this kind of meet to one where the second oldest person is 15 years younger than me which has happened to me in some other meet-ups. Can't make the event you have next week that early in day , but it is a very original idea . Take care . Steve M.
