I enjoy walking, hiking, running, and cycling--all for fun, fitness, and friends!
I have run/walked several 5k`s over the years. I think races are fun & motivating! I love seeing all the runners/walkers out there--they inspire me to keep at it! My mosty recent 5k was yesterday, the hilly & challenging SARC Shamrock. I finished with a time of 39:11. Hoping to improve that time!
Yes, I have the exercise habit--I want to stay motivated!
I try to exercise at least every other day--usu a cpl hrs at a time--so approx 8-10 hrs /wk--give or take!
I think exercising with a group helps w/motivation, + it is fun!
Thanks for the warm greeting. I had a lot of fun & look forward to riding with the group regularly. I'm gonna shoot for every Tuesday for now. I already ride 3 days a week with my father, so it may be hard to work in more than 1 extra ride a week for now.
Paula it was very nice to meet you too! The hikes that my friend Julie was talking about being her favorite were Mingo, Firestone & of course Hampton Hills. Hope to see you again on Friday.
