Olympic National Park Hiking and Hot Springs Trip

Day 1 Friday, June 20
Fly to Seattle in the morning.
Carpool from Seattle to Port Angeles.
Visit the sight of deep, turquoise blue Lake Crescent!
Lake Crescent Hiking
At Lake Crescent Lodge, the Marymere Falls Hiking Trail is 3/4 of a mile from the Storm King Ranger Station in northwest Washington. The 90-foot drop from Falls Creek into a small plunge pool is a fairly flat hike through old growth forest, except for the final approach, which is fairly steep. This fall is generally available for year-round views.
Late afternoon arrive at beautiful Vacation home.

Day 2 Saturday, June 21
Sol Duc Hiking
At Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, the famous Lover's Lane Loop (6 miles round-trip) is accessible from the back of the resort. This hike leads you into the old growth forest, along the Sol Duc River, crossing at Sol Duc Falls in northwest Washington. This is one of the most popular hiking trails in the area!

Hoh Rain Forest
A pleasant two-hour trip west of Port Angeles. You'll never forget your first look at this ancient, temperate rain forest, with its Sitka spruce, big-leaf maples, western hemlock, Douglas fir, western red-cedar – some measuring 25 feet around – towering 300 feet straight up! Many of these huge trees are 300 to 500 years old. Licorice ferns and club moss drape the trees, filtering the sun even on brightest days.

Day 3 Sunday, June 22
Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort
Offers three Mineral Hot Spring soaking pools and one Freshwater Pool. Temperatures vary between the pools allowing you to find the perfect one to relax and soak in.
Late Sunday afternoon, drive back to SEA-TAC.

This 3500 sq.ft. three-level home, perched on high-bluff acreage along the Strait of Juan de Fuca, offers privacy in a forested, retreat-like setting. It features a Master Suite with king bed on the top floor. The Great Room, well-equipped Kitchen, open Dining Room with seating for 12.
