Do you think you're bad? Do you think you've got a little somethin'-somethin' for the Z community? Well, prove it at the San Diego scramble.
Yes, I know...you wish there was some kind of a ranking system for badassness in Z car culture. You wish you had the opportunity to drive to somebody's area code and wreck shop...well, this one's for you.
The San Diego scramble is a two day Z rally with multiple events. No need to run around and try to be on someone's schedule.... this event you can make your own.
Friday night 2/26: Nose to tail to the SD. Plan to meet @ Sunrize Z @ 8:30pm. We'll be leaving promptly at 9pm
Friday SD 11pm - check into the hotel.
Friday midnight: Late night munchies and PS3 driving games for the badasses. Then some drinking if you pussies can hold your liquor.
Sat 2/27 9am - breakfast @ a greasy spoon
Sat 2/27 11am go-kart racing. This should be The Westsiders vs. ZCSD but we're probably faster so we'll break into teams. There will be multiple races (3 per person) with points given for finishing places. Team with the most points wins.
Sat 2/27 3pm PS3 driving clinic. We are going to discuss the major points of "Secrets of Solo Racing" and then demonstrate the techniques with PS3 driving games. This is going to be really fun and informative...so please attend.
Sat 2/27 8pm Datsun Party in the Hotel bar. (it's on Bitches!). We'll be comparing stories, talking parts and mackin' on the waitresses (oh..wait that's right... you have no game). I will personally whip anyone's ass if there is a dart board present.
Sunday 2/28 6:00am... meet up for canyon run, we'll be leaving promptly @ 6:30am so don't be late (unless she's like really, really cute) . Yeah, it's early...welcome to serious driving.
Sunday 2/28 10am ...brunch @ someplace where we can park all the Z's together.
Sunday 1pm Awards ceremony in the hotel. We'll be giving out the following awards:
Most likely to need body work in the next 12 months.
Most likely to lose his license
Slowpoke of the Weekend
Most likely to not be able to finish his beer
Award for the most-pussylike comment, driving move or spontaneous loss of consciousness.
The Gettin' it done award (for the dude that Mack's on the most chicks)
MVZG (most Valuable Z guy)
Now if it was up to me I'd win everything cause I'm just so fuckin' awesome... but these awards will be decided by the voting of your fellow Z car dudes.
OK.. I know there's a lot of stuff to do in two days, but you don't have to do all of it, or any of it. Sitting in the hotel knocking down beers and hitting on the staff is an acceptable use of this weekend.
Get in where you fit in...and if you decide not to come....well... I guess we'll just have to talk about you

yea man, i think i may have over paid but i dont give a shiiiieeetttt i fucking love this car. cool thing is the guy's giving me a new hood, better dash, and a box of goodies for the car as well. so i guess its not so bad. rebuilt engine w/triple carbs, new five speed tranny, all good electrical (minus fuel gauge), roll bar, new seats, and sweet rims are such enticing things! The only prob is that I need a front air dam.

Ok here is some video from the SD Scramble canyon run. My Z is stock except for rims and tires and K&N drop in. I was running on very low tread rear tires. I just ordered some new rears. Go easy on the comments I still have A LOT to learn about performance driving but if I continue to run with you guys I am sure I will catch up quick.

I don't even know where to begin...you would be pissed if you hear all that you missed, but so much happened that nobody really wants to talk about it...but here's an idea of what went down. It was like a 20+ person go-kart race, nearly everybody hit on the models, we got so fucked up at the Datsun party that the canyon run started 2 hrs late, David was hammered by 7pm and remembers nothing, Flanagan has to appear in court to fight a street racing ticket he got on the way down thanks to Lenny from ZCSD and a guy in a grey GTI, I had 3 different hotel rooms in two days, The new guy that bought the 240Z...macked on more chicks than anybody, we had a meeting in the bathroom to decide who was going to try and fuck which model, we got robbed in the go-kart race, at one point there were 15 dudes smoking weed in the hotel conference room, everybody hates mustangs, and the show filming was totally awesome.

Z32 San Diego has just joined the event and so has Group Z...so, we've got a nice event peoples.... uh, I could change the Canyon run to Saturday..but it needs to be early (like before 7am to avoid CHP)...and we won't get in till friday night like 11pm...that's kind of a fast turnaround...but lemme talk to Melody and see what the canyon situation is like in the SD
