Following the same format proposed for the September 2012 screening, we named this event "Short Films for Social Change II" as it will feature the following three short movies delving into some of the root causes and symptoms of the present social pathology:

That should provide us with enough food for thought to ignite a fruitful debate at the end of the screening. Please make an effort to be on time. We endeavour to start at 7pm sharp to leave enough time for a debate at the end of the movie. There will probably be live music after the screening.

5 stars to Genevieve, what a friendly host! Excellent choice of short films about PJ and TZM, and the one about the seeds was great too! Looking forward to next screning! Cheers

Thanks Elis! It was a great evening - we got a few things moving as well with people's projects and ideas, like Hamid's library project, which is so inspiring. The next one will be good too!

Won't attend this one because I have seen most of them already. The social pathology we face at present is ignorance and lack of awareness of the issues so well presented in Zeitgeist movies. This should be made more explicit (All evil needs to triumph is for good people to do nothing). The next step would be to engage with the philosophical and sociological theories the Zeitgeist ideas are drawn from. So I am busy reading.
