Walking Train Against Coal Trains

From Washington State to Washington, D.C., join thousands across the nation in stopping the export of dirty and dangerous fossil fuels. Washington is currently under threat from proposals by Big Coal to ship over 100 million tons of coal through our communities, but there are dirty and dangerous export proposals across the US.

As thousands march in Washington, D.C. for the 350 Presidents Day Weekend Keystone XL March on the White House, show your support here in Seattle and join in on our first ever "Walking Train Against Coal Trains" march.

When: Sunday February 17th, Rally at 11:30, Picture at 12 and then the march begins

Where: Golden Gardens

Who: Special Guest Speaker, Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn

Join us to learn more about the local and national movement to stop fossil fuel exports, as well as learn about the dangers of exporting fossil fuels to our climate, waterways and local economy.

We will take a crowd picture with our NO Fossil Fuel Exports signs and send to Gov. Inslee and Pres. Obama

At noon we will form a walking train and walk along the beach, wearing red no coal export t-shirts.

Wear Red and bring something to make some noise! Kazoos, tambourines, whistles, harmonicas, whatever you want!

Show your support for better vision for Washington and America, say yes to clean jobs and no to fossil fuel exports!
