  • May 15, 2013 · 1:45 PM
  • This location is no longer available

Arrive at 1:45 and settle in.

2:00 to 2:45 (45 minutes of silent so-hum meditation)

2:45 to 3:00 - read and discuss the following excerpt:

"What a miserable day."

"He didn't have the decency to return my call."

"She let me down."

"Little stories we tell ourselves and others, often in the form of complaints. They are unconsciously designed to enhance our always deficient sense of self through being 'right' and making something or someone 'wrong.' Being 'right' places us in a position of imagined superiority and so strengthens our false sense of self, the ego. This also creates some kind of enemy: yes, the ego needs enemies to define its boundary, and even the weather can serve that function. ---From Stillness Speaks..Eckhart Tolle

Refreshments will be seved from 3:00 to 4:00

Hi J...I'm just seeing your message. We encourage folks to arrive on time, but we realize it's not always possible so we are a bit flexible.
