Inner Peace, Stillness and Experiencing True Love ~ Potluck Dinner

6:30 to 7:45 -- Potluck Dinner (Please let us know in advance if you'll be able to participate in the potluck).

8:00 to 10:00 -- Mehrdad Mizani who is a self realized teacher and was recently interviewed on "Buddha at the Gas Pump" will discuss "STILLNESS AND TRUE LOVE".

Inner peace, being still and experiencing love.

10:00 to 12:00 -- We will enjoy some snacks and tea along with some live music. If you choose not to participate in potluck dinner, then please bring some snacks to share with the group after the meeting. Tea will be provided.

Love offering of any amount for Mehrdad will be appreciated.

At some point during the evening there will be music, singing and perhaps some dancing!

Join with us for this enlightening evening and feel free to bring house slippers as the floor can be a bit cold in the winter. “No matter how much someone wishes to love others, it’s simply not possible without growing the heart. When we understand that only a mature heart can be the source of true and constant love, we realize that it is imperative for us to learn how the heart is meant to grow. No matter what else we do, the primary focus of life – thoughts, words and actions- should be on the growth of the heart in all its different realms. As we grow in the realms of the heart, we become able to see, feel and understand people around us. Therefore, our relationships with others become deeper and more harmonious. As the heart grows, so does the love, and so does our ability to experience lasting happiness in all areas of our lives.” Mehrdad Mizani

What a wonderful evening it was. The potluck was very delicious and plentiful. Thanks to all the attendees who made it possible.
One of Mehrdad's teaching was about internal conflict we create when we go against the "principles of life" and get caught up in "ideas and concepts of life". As always, it was a life enhancing talk.

I will most definitely bring something for the pot luck. Is anything missing?

Bring anything other than dessert. We wind up with too much of it. Thanks.
