The last Pub Night Friday of 2012 at The Lion! A Züri eXpats Event!

Typically, Friday Nights are the end of a long year for us Expats.

Sometimes, you just want to let off some steam, have a pint after work, and relax with friends or like-minded Expats. That's where we come in.The last Pub Night on Friday at The Lion of 2012! is the place to be inbetween Christmas and New Years Eve.

In true Züri eXpat style, in order to keep your palette satiated, we plan on having drink specials offered by The Lion management throughout the evening. And in the weeks to come, we'll start having group activities in the private Snug Room, such as Trivia. The evening's format is still being crafted, so we are open to your suggestions; just shoot us an email or post below.

Why Choose The Lion Pub?
With the myriad choices of bars and venues throughout the city of Zürich, The Lion Pub is a relative newcomer to the scene. It's a traditional English Pub, and the food is good eating, relatively inexpensive and a decent selection of beers on tap to complement their offerings.

This isn't Paddy Reilly's, Nelson, Lady Hamilton's or the other 20-something boozing pubs in town; The Lion is a classier establishment that caters to those that want to enjoy a good beer while watching the game on TV or having a bonafide conversation with one's mates.

Why Friday Night Pub Nights?
We created The Friday Nights at The Lion Pub Event to fill another niche in our Meetup Event offerings, one that was decidedly more low-key and laid back. There's no need to "dress to impress" and most people would/could come straight over from work. And with it's central location, it should be easy for one to drop in for a pint or two before doing some last-minute shopping on the Bahnhofstrasse on your way home. It's also a good place to kick off your Friday night shenanigans while the rest of your mates get ready ;)

That's what we have on tap. We hope to see you there, and raise a pint with you and hear about your Expat experiences in this beautiful land of cheese and chocolate.

See you next Friday!
