Dear Züri eXpats, in 2012 our "Bellevue Drinks at Goethe Bar" Meetup has grown to become the most visited, regular eXpat venue in Zurich, which is GREAT! Thank YOU for making it such a success! Last month we averaged more than 140 Guests every Saturday; unfortunately, not everyone is on our RSVP guest list. We want to provide a secure venue and for that our group limit agreement with Goethe Bar is 130 people.
In order to keep things under control AND ensure that fun is had by all, we've had to change our event protocols for future Meetups at the Goethe Bar location:
- Show your Züri eXpats Member Card when you come are greeted by our Host/Hostess (if you don't have a card, just ask for one.)
- Find your name on the Guest List. If you are not on the Guest List, we'll add you on the spot...just be sure to RSVP next time.
Starting on Saturday December 15th we will make the RSVP List OBLIGATORY, so make sure that you are on the List and ready to enjoy your Saturdays at Goethe Bar with Züri eXpats!!
(NEW) SPECIAL REWARDS just for Züri eXpats on Saturday!
FREE COCKTAILS – As a special "thank you" for our lady guests, we have a Gift from our generous sponsor, the Goethe Bar Management. The first 15 ladies that come in (on the RSVP List AND Member Card in hand) will receive a complimentary "Goethe Bar Special Club Cocktail", as a welcome drink to start your night off right!
EXPAT DINNER MONDAYS – For our loyal Züri eXpats, we have a nice "Thank You Gift" for those that RSVP and attend the most Events each month. Every 2nd Saturday (monthly) we will give away a FREE "Dinner & Drinks for 2" at the Restaurant Schiller, just next door to Bar Goethe (valid only on Monday evenings; ask for details.) Our special frequent flyer eXpat will be notified by email or phone.

If you are looking to expand your social circle and make the most out of living in Zurich, then you should come and join us. We meet regularly to unwind from the week, enjoy a few drinks and relax with fellow Expats. This group is about meeting new and interesting people in an informal and friendly environment… away from the crowds. Come on your own, with friends or with a 'significant other' – its up to you – but you will always feel welcomed!
Many Expats frequent this English-friendly bar, so if you are new please come early, as this represents the best opportunity to meet people before the regulars settle in for the night. As the night progresses it tends to get crowded, but we often end up taking over the whole Bar!
Look for us with a Züri Expats Badge at the door and show your Zurich eXpats membercard, we look for your RSVP on our guestlist. And let you into our private area and introduce you to some people to make you feel confortable and like a VIP.
Are you ready to have some fun and meet some amazing Expats from all over the world? Then sign-up below and we'll see you there!
