there is a shortage of Human capacity; intellectual capital and without expats the society will collaps

There are NOT ENOUGH SWISS available to do all high skilled job or could be educated to do so in future;

Head hunters search globally highly skilled  international professionals, to help the SWISS society with there expertise in the region ZH.

Then the ZürieXpats Meetup Group is meant for YOU!

Züri Expats was formed to address this ongoing challenge. As we where profiled quite good at a Rundschau raportage on SF1 in February 26, 2013, we try to make a positive difference and work closely with the city authorities.

We use many Social Media channels to spread our message, such as: LinkedIn | FaceBook | Meetup|www.Zurich-eXpats.org.

The Neumarkt theatre has a play going on EXPATS that was based on our experiences as well (2013)

Summer hikes all over Switzerland for all levels

Rafting in the greates canyons you will ever find

Horse riding in the Montafoon valley national park is not forgotten

Paragliding over the Alps and feeling like a eagle

And Zurich has a top quality of life. It has a lake with pure clear water surrounded by hills and is very close to many scenic mountains.

What type of events shall we focus on fort of 2013 and beyond? This past year we had meetups active as social as also cutural so we can say we planned numerous social gatherings around international highlights and schedules. We did over 240 events in Zurich, or started them from Zürich all over Switzerland.

Our highly qualified fellow expat City Life help you on several events with:

◉ Run in the China garden at the Lake: Be with your peers and enjoy life in Zurich.
◉ Bike around Lake/ Limmat and BBQ: the  better way to find the best spots during summer is not given.
◉ Hike in the canton and the mountains around: The specials known where to go in Switzerland and what are the available choices.
◉ Visit interesting objects in the Canton of ZH: Ladies , we give you a insight how to get all invitations to all great paces.
◉ Swim and Sail all over: What happening before your door? they have  a party......
◉ ................: from basic to advanced, from general to sector related just bring in your idea for a event!

We are doing a lot With our 4 Meetup platforms; Züri eXpats; City Life , Züri eXpats , Züri eXpats Hike & Outdoor & Sandbox,   Zurich Movie Fans. we have over 3000 highly educated members that are involved in producing 60% of economics of the Canton and city Zürich.

ZürieXpats will also participate in social and semi-political events that help spread awareness of – and promote the integration of eXpats in Zürich and to contribute POSITIVELY to the Swiss lifestyle, with our partners at the integration department of city & canton of Zurich.

Welcome to ZürieXpats Sandbox!!!

Why does the Züri eXpats SANDBOX exist?

Earlier this year our parent Meetup group "Züri eXpats" grew by leaps and bounds, thanks to a motley crew of savvy social butterflies and oodles of volunteer help. As this group expanded and merged with another popular Meetup group, it chose to capitalize & focus on a winning formula for certain events and locations. This left our members without a creative outlet to experiment with their OWN event ideas.

Thus the SANDBOX was developed, as an inspired and evolving entity BY & FOR our current Züri eXpat members.

What does the SANDBOX mean exactly?

A Sandbox has a dual meaning for tech-saavy Expats like us. On the one hand, it evokes childhood memories of a simpler time, where we all got along on the playground, sharing toys and letting our imaginations run wild.

For adults in the software development realm, a Sandbox takes on many of those childhood aspects in fostering personal creativity and growth too. In a nutshell, a developer sandbox is a SAFE, protected environment to test out new software & code edits that rely on real-world feedback & access to existing hardware without crashing the actual "live" public servers.

OUR GOAL >> The Züri eXpats SANDBOX strives to be a safe, welcoming and open platform for the creative exploration of new Meetup Event ideas & formats, by & for our members. Grow your Inner Event Planner! We'll provide you with feedback and guidance, and help foster your event ideas. We may even promote your event on our other Social Media Platforms – Meetup, Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing, etc.

Here's the basic guidelines to get started:

1) Become a member.

2) Shoot us a quick email on what type of Event you'd like to create. We'll give you some constructive feedback (if needed) for quick changes & tips for improvement to your Event concept.

3) Once we green-light your project, we'll make YOU an Event Host. This will allow you to immediately create your very own Meetup Event on the SANDBOX.

4) By creating quality, recurring events with increasing attendees and positive feedback, we will lend our Marketing Muscle to your cause by cross-promoting your event(s) on our other Social Media Platforms – Meetup, Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing, etc. In addition, we could create "Züri eXpats co-branded marketing materials" such as flyers and banners, which will further grow your Event ideas beyond what any one person could do on their own.

5) For those Event Planners that show promise, rest assured that we'll have our eyes on YOU! If you are up to the challenge, we may invite you to become one of our main group's planning committee members, which has its' own perks and privileges :)

This is a key point; if we receive negative feedback from our members or guests about your activities, upon review, you will be removed immediately from our platforms. We will vigorously defend our reputation as an Expat Group that is female-friendly and NOT a "Meat Market" for pick-up artists and sexual predators.
