Revolutionary Zurich Walking Tour
What do Vladimir Ilych Lenin, James Joyce, and Tristan Tzara have in common? They were all living in Zurich in 1918.
The “Revolutionary Zurich” walking tour will take you to the places where political, literary, and artistic revolutions were being shaped by these important cultural figures of the 20th century. I will also guide you through the history of the movements that resulted from their efforts, and the work that they themselves did while living in Zurich.
We will end the tour at the Cabaret Voltaire where the spirit of Dada is meant to be continued, and have a discussion about the movements and Zurich's impact on them. We will also have the opportunity to get to know each other better over a drink.
