December Ski Weekend in France

Hello,

There is a ski & snowboard test weekend with bands etc. in Avoriaz (France) on 12-13.12.

I have booked accommodation max. for 9 persons in studios of 24m2 and 27 m2, located close to the resort centre and slopes.

They cost 138 € (max 4 persons) and 178 € (max 5 persons) for 2 nights (Fri evening until Sun morning), so it would be only about 35 € per person for the weekend.
Ski ticket is only 15 € per day during this special weekend.

I have never been there, but it's one of the areas of huge Les Portes du Soleil (650 km of pistes!). I read that Avoriaz is excellent for easy riders and snowboarders. However, i didn't find out how to get there by public transport, seems complicated. It takes 3,5 hrs to go there by car, but i don't yet have a car.

If you are interested in joining, drop me a line and let me know if you have a car.

It was a bit too far to go for a weekend, but it was nice to test boards and skis, lift pass was cheap, there was more snow and slopes open than expected (was fine!) and good weather on Sunday.
