Excellent idea!
I've also been in touch with a kitesurfing school near St Moritz, apparently quite a scenic area, and I think I will plan a trip out there. I'm so stoked to try it! If you want to see how rad it is for yourself check out
It's a bit like windsurfing mixed with wakeboarding ?? But without the motorboat, just a huge kite about 3 to 4 times the surface area of a windsufing sail ( so imagine how fast you can go!) and a smaller wakeboard sized board. Yee ha,  let 'er rip!
More details to follow....

Hey folks,
The results - and photos - for the Rigi hike are in. Please head over to the website to see photos by Marcus, and a few by Chante. If you have other trip/group photos, please remember you can upload them yourselves at:
Thanks again for making this such a great group.
Time to do something new, and interesting.
As you know, the coming weekend promises to be a long weekend (thanks to the Christian tradition of Ascension). So if you're not going to church, like me, and are still in town, perhaps you need something else to do?
There was talk during Rigi of windsurfing, and I have found a place, about an hour away, that promises good winds. I, therefore, suggest an excursion this Sun day to Urnersee. We can take the train, or rent a car, and decide to stay overnight at a hostel/hotel. For those that do not wish to windsurf, it is still a lake, so you can swim, barbeque, or do whatever else people do by the lakeside. Let me know if there is any interest, and I will try to plan accordingly?
I'd also suggest doing an evening drinks, but this week's "expat" calendar is pretty crowded, so lets put this off till the week after. However, if anyone has suggestions or wants to do spontaneous activities, I'm all for that.
Finally a reminder - the next "official event" is June 17, to Neuchatel. We have 9 confirmations already!
See you soon.
