UPDATE: Please read the new schedule below as we've made some substantial changes to get more out of the weekend down south.
There are lots of beautiful places to visit in Switzerland so this time lets go to the sunny south of Switzerland for a weekend hike in Canton Tessin.
The plan would be to meet up in the Locarno area on Saturday around lunchtime and then head over to Sonogno where we would hike the Swiss White Water Trail. The hike is easy lasting about 4 hours long taking us through scenic old villages, rushing rivers and over medieval bridges. Take a look at the video on this page for a better idea of what awaits! (the link to the video is on the tab bottom-right under the images)
A group of us will be staying overnight in a hostel in Locarno. We have have pre-booked a number of beds already, costing 60 CHF per night, so if you wish to join the party please register as soon as possible.
Same day return to Zurich
For those who can't stay overnight you'll be able to head back towards Deutsch-Schweiz with the last trains leaving Locarno at around 9.00pm
