We're going to do a day hike in the beautiful Lauterbrunnen Valley in the Bernese Oberland. This is a hike that gives you a stunning view of Swiss Mountains, waterfalls and general natural beauty.
This hike is easy, and suitable for families with children in prams, and also for children of at least 7 years old.
We will also have Sh. Fraz Farhat joining us for the trip inshallah.

09:04 - 09:57 Pl. 5 train to Interlaken Ost
10:05 - 10:25 Pl. 2 train to Lauterbrunnen
10:31 - 10:35 Cable car to Grütschalp
10:40 - 13:00 Hike to Murren (with stop for lunch)
13:10 Murren - Schilthorn (Cable car)
13:25 - 16:00 Hike back to Lauterbrunnen with a stop @ the Trümmelbach Falls
16:03 - 16:24 Pl. 3 train to Interlaken Ost
16:30 - 17:23 Pl. 7 train to Bern
17:32 - 18:28 Pl. 7 train to Zurich
The best value ticket for this journey if you don't have a GA card is to buy a day card for all of Switzerland as this will cover the cost of the Cable cars too. There is also an entry fee of 11 CHF for the Trümmelbach Falls which are well worth seeing.

The journey by car is around 50 minutes shorter from Zurich, and there is a large roofed car park behind Lauterbrunnen Bahnhof where you can park your car for the day for a few Francs. The exact address is:

The meeting point for anyone driving by car is at the Lauterbrunnen BLM (cablecar) station and you must be here by 10.15am so that we can all go up in the same cable car:
