The second yoga session of three, if you came for the first class and you liked it please consider coming again if it is in your possibilities. We will learn a couple more things we can do during hatha yoga in order to make the practice more effective to our minds and bodies. If you did not come and either like yoga or have any curiosity, then you are also most welcome to try. We will be helping two good causes (see below).
The class will be gentle because it is in the evening after a long week, and it will be merry with nice music. I hope this session will be again a opportunity to be totally in the present moment and into yourself. Yoga is NOT about suffering by stretching and if you are stiff it is probably even better (one of my dearest teachers says that: if you are stiff, you are lucky in yoga) though... at first this could be hard to see ;-). What matters is not at all how much you stretch but your awareness and mental focus... Although yoga is certainly spiritual it does not have to be a purely serious practice.
What to bring: an empty stomach (or almost empty).
Donation: 30 CHF in cash per session to be donated entirely.
About the charities:
faedhaiti.org. This is a charity that works with children in Haiti. The website is in Italian, a video is in English! This institution has been founded and run by a friend who will be in the yoga class.
The institution run by Dr Ating in Sulawesi, Indonesia. I know this doctor in person, he cured me and my children in Indonesia, he is a rarity of a person... truly generous and knowledgeable. He has been in the tropics of Indonesia for decades and has started a foundation to maintain one of the national parks (amazing, if you are interested look at the photos in the link below)... with work like his the biodiversity has a much bigger chance of surviving the operations usually done in Indonesia (example is Sumatra where the forest has been cut down extensively, leaving only bits here and there).
