Introduction
Rachel, with not much time for crafting at the moment... but the situation is improving.
What is your favourite craft(s)?
I like sewing, stuff for around the house also decorative things like cross stitch,used to knit and crochet a lot as a child and recently started up again after a 20 year hiatus. I also like photography, scrapbooking, jewellery making, card making, home DIY, gardening, occasionally baking, absolutely anything crafty... typical jack of all trades master of none!
What projects, if any, do you have on the go at the moment?
Cross stitch birth sampler (child is now nearly 2...), half a dozen other cross stitch samplers I have started over the last 20 years, one or two crochet projects.
What projects would you like to start?
Would like to knit again as it is so much more flexible than crocheting, but have discovered that my childhood technique is terrible and clumsy
How long have you been crafting or are you a complete beginner?
All my life.

Age 10 chopped up a cushion cover from my friend's sewing stash to make a stuffed cat toy, only to discover her mum had intended to donate only the stuffing to the stash and the cover itself was somewhat prized.

Thanks Rachel! I am so happy you updated your group on the swim since otherwise I would have went tomorrow and wondered where all the people were. I am hoping to get out and do some intro runs with you. I think I will try to do the half marathon in September.

Thanks Rachel! He did eventually sleep... from 3 til 6 with the fan pointed at him! Virginia tells me she and Janus had loads of fun with the fountain in your sandpit. Hopefully George and I will make it out to your next playdate!
