I like unique events that aren't stuffy and a little off the beaten path. I am interested in poetry readings, lectures, book signings, theater, art openings, experimental music, and other related events. I'm hoping to find a few like minded folks in the Bay Area who would like to attend these events on occasion with me! I am looking for cheap stuff to do so you won't find any opera or symphony events here (unless they're free!)

So many artists out there, it's great to support your local art scene and check out what creative people are trying to do and say all over the place. We may be seeing things that are edgy, alternative or downright bizarre so come with an open mind and prepare to have some fun!

Please make suggestions and ideas on what you would like to see.  We love to reach out to new people in town, so if someone is new to the area, please bring them to one of our meetups and introduce them.
