Hike at Sharon Mills County Park and Weston Preserve, then Black Sheep Tavern

I found some new places to hike! Yay!

This is the last practice hike for the Smoky mountains trip, but of course everyone is welcome.

Sharon Mills is another historic site in Washtenaw county that has newly minted hiking and biking trails. The Fall color should make the place really nice. We will hike 3.8 miles around the Sharon Mills. Then, we can walk about a mile North up to The Nan Weston Nature Preserve and check out the bridges and wetlands there. Estimated hike 3 miles.

Then back down to cars. Total of 8 miles.

From there carpool 4 miles into town for lunch at the historic Black Sheep Tavern. Slinging ale since 1823.

Thanks again to Steve for the Weston trail map:

This map actually is oriented with the South side at the top. (Just sayin')

I thought the meetup title sounded familiar! Should be a good hike, but I won't be able to make it out that way this weekend.

Hey Patrick. Glad you are coming. By the way, since you told me about Pho House it's my favorite place now.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
