The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Daniel suggested this meetup idea, and volunteered to host this fun event.

So!  Doesn't look like there's much going on this particular weekend, so I thought I'd let you all know about a really amazing show.  Two Muses Theater Company will be doing the musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" this weekend at their theater located at the Barnes & Noble in West Bloomfield, right by the corner of Maple & Orchard Lake.

The show is absolutely hilarious with a lot of amazing talent.  It's a musical comedy about 6 young people in the throes of puberty participating in a spelling bee, overseen by adults who barely managed to escape childhood themselves.

Two Muses is a new professional theater group whose mission is to present programming centered around women and  their interests and issues, and to both develop and fulfill the need for a sense of community, artistic outlet, and employment opportunities for women in theater.  All funds raised go to maintaining the theater as well as charitable contributions to organizations centered on women, children, and their families.
The show is at 8pm, so I thought we could all meet at the starbucks in the store around 700 (the theater is literally behind it).

Tickets can be bought online at the following link.

If you know you are going, it's best to buy them online, since it will save you $2.  Tickets are $23 for adults, and $18 for students and seniors, and will cost $2 more if you buy them at the door, I know the event is just this saturday but whether it's thursday evening or saturday afternoon, it's never too late till you arrive.  All tickets are picked up at will call, so you don't have to worry about printing them or anything like that.  I'm not sure they accept card, so be sure to bring cash. Cya all there!
