Come out and try men's water polo at lunchtime on Friday, December 6. Game runs from 12:30 until we can't tread anymore (usually 30-45 minutes.) Meet me at the front door at noon so we can register you as free guest.

We're looking to increase the 'pool' of water polo hacks at our University of Michigan lunchtime games M/W/F. Its really more of a Swimming meets Rugby meets Mixed Martial Arts but with only one rule -- you can't hold a married person under the water for more than 5 minutes. I had zero water polo experience before starting in December 2012.

The 'club' has been around since 1926 and despite the NY Times article to the contrary, we do wear bathing suits.

The core group of guys play Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays around 12:30 at the Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) on the main U of M campus in Ann Arbor.

Sorry to cancel late, but I'm running behind this morning and will never make it in time. I hope you post this again.

Do you ever play during the evenings or on weekends? I used to play on the UofM club team a decade ago... it'd be fun to play again

Do you play through various holiday breaks. I'm a high school teacher, so if school's out, I could potentially join

Yep, M/W/F. so long as the pool is open. Personal message me and we can set something up!
