If anybody has ever been interested in Aviation and would like a taste I would be more than happy to help arrange an event at the Ann Arbor airport. Airplane rides, networking opportunities, and perhaps even a tour of the Air Traffic Control Tower. There is actually a Pancake Breakfast at the Ann Arbor Airport on June 10th. Anybody is welcome to come. Obviously breakfast will be served, airplane rides and an opportunity to see a ton of different aircraft and mingle with other adventure minded Pilots.
I honestly cannot just name one. I have worked my way through earning a Flight Instructor Certificate, flown to many wonderful destinations. I've been white water rafting on the Lower Gauley River and now want to kayak it. I've thrown the camping gear on the back of my motorcycle and have been to tons of motorcycle meets and events, rain or shine. I've drug a knee on the asphalt at over 100 mph around numerous racetracks across the country. I now sound like a showoff... ok... maybe a little...
I would say packing my family into the car and driving to West Virginia to get a taste of white water on the Lower Gauley River. It wasn't necessarily the rafting that was crazy but the raft flipping over at the top of a class IV rapid. I was desperately trying to not only find the surface of the water but my sister who was in the same predicament. Lots of adrenaline, teamwork and bonding and not to mention the gorgeous view.
I would like to meet up with more people in the area that like doing the things that I do. Possibly attend some events and go on some great adventures. I am also trying to promote myself as a flight instructor.
