Shorter weekly run to get you started - starts April 6th

All are welcome. We'll run one lap around Argo Pond. It will be a slow paced 2.25 miles. If you get winded, walk for a bit and then run more when you feel like it.

When this becomes less challenging, move up to one of the more intense running events we have weekly. Experienced runners are welcome to join this event too. I may also be doing The Run an hour later.

Meet at Argo Park near the rest rooms. It's right by the canoe livery. I will be wearing a red shirt. We'll depart at 9:45. Please call[masked]four-5187 if you are running late.

It's hard to start running. The first mile will either kill you or make you stronger. If you run on a treadmill it gets boring quickly too. Once you get in the habit though, running stops being miserable and you might eventually start to like it. Running has given me the fitness and confidence to do things I couldn't do before.

Please join us every week if you can make it. We'll run even if it's cold and raining. It's easier to keep up your motivation when you run with a group. Please bring water and dress for the conditions.
