Election Day: August 5 Ann Arbor Civic Technology Meetup at Blake Transit Center

Please join us upstairs at the new Blake Transit Center in downtown Ann Arbor for a special afternoon election day meetup of the Ann Arbor Civic Technology Meetup. Doors will open at 3:45 p.m.

Among the items on the agenda is discussion of the new AAATA API which citizens and software developers can use to get real-time information about bus locations and arrival times. Bring your own ideas about this or any other topic of civic technology on your list; everyone gets at least 5 minutes to present.

UPDATE: This event replaces the previously planned July[masked] meetup.

Ed, I just noticed this is at 4pm ... I'll be there closer to 5. See everyone then.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. In addition to the discussion of the AAATA API I expect that we'll have a brief report on the #MICities conference this fall as well as sharing details of what it would take to turn this group into an official "Code for America Brigade". See you then!

I'm leaning toward canceling the Monday July 28 evening meetup, and replacing it with a meetup on Tuesday August 5 (Election Day) during the afternoon.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
