About Mobile Moves Michigan (MMM):

Mobile Moves Michigan (MMM) is an exciting, state-wide event taking place on July 30 & 31 at Motor City Casino in Detroit which is designed to educate, inspire and grow Michigan's mobile / wireless technology industry. It will also serve as a public showcase of the diversity and breadth of mobile / wireless activity that is based here and how it is contributing to the state's economic recovery effort. MMM is produced by the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM).

The event consists of several components:

• Presentations from local, national and international mobile industry experts
• Mobile / Wireless Tech Symposium & Strategic Planning Session
• Michigan Mobile / Wireless Technology Exhibition
• WIPJam, Day for Developers + Muther! of all Hack-a-thons

About WIPJam, Day for Developers + Muther! of all Hack-a-thons:

WIPJam, Day for Developers + Muther! of all Hack-a-thons is part of the ‘Mobile Moves Michigan’ (MMM) conference. As the developer component of the event, WIPJam and the Muther! of all Hack-a-thon’s is expected to attract over 300 developers, coders and mobile enthusiasts from Michigan and surrounding states, as well as southern Canada.

The WIPJam "Day for Developers" will take place on Monday, July 30th. It will feature Master Classes from event sponsors and deep dives into top developer topics such as: App Life Cycle Planning and Strategy; Choosing the Right App Revenue Model; User Engagement and Loyalty; Developer Trends for the Next 12 Months and more. Attendees will interact with and learn from speakers, device companies, platform vendors, tool companies and fellow participants. WIPJams are strict about: No PPT, No Panels, No Ties!

WIPJams are popular all over the world as interactive developer events. Since 2008, WIP has hosted 17 WIPJams and thousands of developers on four continents. WIPJam is where the best mobile developers meet key leaders of the mobile eco-system.

The Muther! of all Hack-a-thons will begin the afternoon of July 30th and go for 24 hours. It features master tech classes, expert tables, great hack categories and fabulous prizes. Here's what developers can expect at the Hack-a-thon:

• 24 hours of coding
• Master Tech classes to get a deep dive on tools, platforms, APIs
• Expert tables for hands-on technical advice
• Opportunity to create an app and pitch it to win prizes: devices, cash, t-shirts and more
• Refreshments to keep energized, motivated and going all night.

The WIPJam + Muther! Hack-a-thon is sponsored by international companies that want to connect with mobile developers.
