Audatex is currently seeking a Webmaster in Ann Arbor, Michigan to work as a part of the Shared Services organization.
Under general direction, accountable for the design, upgrading, enhancement, maintenance, availability and effectiveness of technical functionality and content for one or more Web sites of the enterprise. Coordinates the publishing of Web site content, user interface, look/feel and level of specificity to suit a wide range of needs. Responsible for working closely with marketing and systems teams to coordinate content, developing on-going site structure and updates. Primary focus is generally on gathering requirements that relate to the organization's business objectives relative to site audiences, and continuous content updates and site upgrades to enhance site hits/visits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develops, maintains, and provides support on Internet/Intranet sites.
•Ensures that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types.
•Works with marketing and developmental staff on style and approach on all projects.
•Participates in efforts to improve quality of Web sites and other electronic publications as required.
•Monitors software licenses to ensure compliance.
•Insures that all internet standards are met and that the company does not violate any standard.
•Maintains and administers internal web and services tool systems.
•Maintains and administers all legal internet domains owned by business unit.
•Develops, maintains, and monitors Web servers broadcasting an Internet domain.
•Utilizes technology to provide clients with a fast, accurate, and secure method of gaining access to information in the fastest and most effective manner possible.
•Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience required.
•Knowledge of MYSQL, SQL and Access desirable.
•Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups.
•Experience with audio/video demonstration technologies is highly desirable.
