Stone Mountain Hike & Breakfast

Let's meet for an exhilarating hike up Stone Mountain!!!  This will probably be the last opportunity before it gets really cold.

This is a great workout!! Please join us for an early morning hike (weather permitting) at Stone Mountain. This is a family friendly, hike at your own pace, type of activity. The hike up the Mountain is 1.3 miles in length with several places to rest along the way. We will reach a height of 1,683 feet above sea level. Once at the summit, we can hangout, catch our breath and enjoy a beautiful view of the city.

Please bring comfortable, yet appropriate, shoes (mind that it is not flip-flop terrain) and plenty of drinking fluids. Also, please keep in mind that dogs and other pets are not allowed on the walk-up trail.

There are restrooms located at the base and the top of the mountain, and a small snack bar on top. The hike can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, so the idea is to meet by the Rest Rooms near the Railroad Tracks, located in front of the Confederate Hall at 8:15 am and begin the hike no later than 8:30 am. If you are not familiar with Stone Mountain, just ask for the Walk-up Trail. The attendant will give you directions. We are not meeting at the main events entrance...

After the hike/walk, let's meet for breakfast @ Metro Cafe

1905 Rockbridge Rd Stone Mountain 30087

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
