Member Bill of Rights

The Right to Meet

We encourage all Meetup Groups to have a local monthly Meetup that's open to anyone interested.

The Right to Privacy

Meetup.com will never share your email address with anyone without your permission (unless required to by law).

The Right to Not Get Annoying Ads

Meetup.com will not show pop-up ads and will not spam you. All email from Meetup.com will primarily be related to your Meetup Groups.

The Right to Meet About Most Anything

Meetup.com is non-partisan and non-denominational. We believe that everyone should have access to a Meetup Group about most anything.

(There are a few exceptions for hate- and adult-related topics.)

The Right to Choose Where to Meet

Meetup Group Organizers can schedule Meetups at any place they choose. (If your Meetup is at a place of business, please buy a drink or a cup of coffee to say "thank you" to the venue!)
