Urban Shadows

Urban Shadows is a modern horror game powered by the Apocalypse. You are a monster in Albuquerque scrambling to fill the void in the southwest's lucrative drug trade. The largest drug bust in the region's history has crippled the power of the previous cartel, and those who are left standing race against each other to become the next drug kingpin. Herbs, powder, or crystal, there's money to be made, and with it, comes power. To what lengths will you go and over whom will you step to get your piece of that pie? Will you set yourself atop the city's hierarchy? Or will you use the chaos to settle old scores or advance some other agenda? Albuquerque is on a precipice; Survival will require climbing to the heights of power or wallowing in the depths of depravity. You'll either rise over the corpses of fallen enemies and allies alike, or someone else will rise over yours!

I'm planning to run this game at GenCon and am looking to do a trial run beforehand. I'd like to cap the table at 5 players, but if more people are interested, please go ahead and sign up. I can recruit another MC to run a 2nd table if need be.

I'm very excited about this game and am eager to introduce new players to it. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask!

    Hey everyone!

I'm really sorry about this, but I haven't been able to get any more players for this and the game just doesn't work great with just 2 players. I'll try to change it over to next week, hopefully, without the convention running, we'll have some more players available. If anyone is interested in learning more though, please feel free to check out the Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1287928832/urban-shadows-rpg) and I'm still available to answer any questions. Thanks again to those who had signed up and, once again, I'm really sorry that things didn't work out this week.

I'm going to tentatively say that I'm going to make it. Lately there's been quite a few curve balls that have made planning a bit difficult. Question though, my 12 year old may also be interested in checking this one out. Would you be alright with that? If not that's fine, just figured I'd ask.

Hey Joie! I glad you're excited about he game, but I'm expecting this to have significant adult content (the drug trade will be one of the game's main focuses, for example) and wouldn't be very comfortable with someone as young as your son playing.

Hells yeah, I'm in. What do I need to know?

You don't really *need* to know anything to play. I'll provide and explain everything the table will need on Saturday. However, if you want to learn more beforehand, the best place to go will be he Kickstarter that I linked below. Or if there's anything specific you'd like to know, feel free to ask me directly.

Heard nothing but really awesome things from Origins. Wanted to play it very badly but didn't have time!
