Biweekly Bible Study

With our Genesis study behind us now, and a fantastic "Easter" study last time, I think we'll move into the New Testament for our next book study. I think it's important that we take the time to study the life of Jesus, and with that in mind, we'll study the book of Matthew first.

This week will be in Chapters 1-3, and possibly on to 4. I'm looking forward to starting a new book, and as always, there is much to learn from the Word of God! Hope to see everyone there!

As usual, we'll be meeting in Room 207 on the west side of the Church campus. The easiest directions are to exit I-17 @ Cactus, go west one block to 28th Drive, then north one block to Larkspur. The northeast corner is our meet-up location, at the Calvary Community Church campus.

Todd did a great job explaining things in the first 3 chapters of Mathew. I am really glad I made the effort to attend. There were 11 of us there which is really nice

Wonderful kickoff in the book of Matthew tonight! We saw how Jesus' lineage is directly tied back to King David and Abraham, and how that sets the stage for His ministry to come, and ultimately to His sacrifice for all of us on the cross. Can't wait to study more in the coming weeks! Thanks to all for the fantastic participation and discussion tonight!

Hi Nick. I know Steve typically attends a Bible Study @ Cornerstone in Tempe, but I believe their study is currently on a hiatus. If you know of another study you'd like to attend, p,ease feel free to pass it along!

Cornerstone is not having the Tuesday Bible study this week. They plan to resume next week. They are on Alma School south of the 202 fwy in Chandler.. It is quite a drive for me so, have been going to Bible studies in the Maricopa area while I am here. The one here in Maricopa is covering the book of Hebrews. If anyone is interested in driving to Maricopa, let meknow. Otherwise, I am sure there are closer ones in the east valley to attend. We ask members to let us know.
