Biweekly (Expositional) Bible Study

Continuing our book study thru Matthew (halfway now), we'll be in Chapters 15-17 this week. More miracles are coming, and the struggle with the Pharisees continues to build. For the first time too, Jesus will predict His death and teach us that we too must take up our own cross to follow Him. The drama continues as we work closer towards the pivotal moment in all of human history... The death and resurrection of our Lord! Come ready to learn and discuss all that The Lord has done and continues to do for us!

As usual, we'll meet in Room 207 @ the Calvary Community Church campus. The easiest directions are to exit I-17 @ Cactus, go one block west to 28th Drive, then one block north to Larkspur. The church campus is on the Northeast corner.

Looking forward to studying with everyone as we delve deeper into the Lord's word! Come ready to be blessed!

Rereading some of Jesus' words today on traditions and commandments, and I got to thinking... How often do we teach the commandments of man as though they were doctrines of The Lord? Such a poignant thought, and one we all (myself included) wrestle with almost daily! Anyone else have similar thoughts?
