Expositional Bible Study

After rounding out the book of Acts in our last study, this week we'll stroll back to the Old Testament and begin a new book... 1 Samuel, chapters 1-3, possibly thru 4.

Get ready to learn about the prophet Samuel, the establishment of Israel's monarchy, and the lives of King Saul and King David!  This book is rich with detail into The Lord's dealings with the Israelites and their rebellion, as well as moving mightily in the lives of these chosen men. So many important lessons to learn, and as always, many parallel's to our lives today, some 3000 years later. Make plans to join us as we dive into and glean much from The Lord's word!

As always, we will meet in room 207 on the Calvary Community Church campus. The easiest directions are to exit I-17 @ Cactus, go one block west to 28th Drive, then one block north to Larkspur. The church campus and room 207 are located on the northeast corner of the intersection. Looking forward to studying with everyone again!

Great kickoff to 1 Samuel tonight, and lots of deep, probing discussion on the character of God! So much more to learn from and study as we continue thru this book. Can't wait!
