This is a straight-up BRIBE. I'm holding this full-day workshop for only $25 because I will be video taping the whole thing for a 6-DVD product. Bottom line; I need an audience! This is the same program I gave in Sweden earlier this year. They charged almost $300 USD (2395 SEK) for the workshop. I will be giving it again in Canada in September, Bulgaria in October and Aruba in November. I'm doing it here for only $25. It will be a full-day event and we will cover social media in detail. PROMISE: You will not get more information for less money anywhere else. Here's the deal. I will be doing six 50-minute presentations (yes, just me) with 10-minute breaks in between. Each presentation will be recorded. There won't be much room for discussion but I will stay afterwards to make sure your questions are answered. You will also get a comprehensive handout with lots of notes and details. Here is the Agenda for the day: 10:00 to 10:50 - Understanding the Social Media Opportunity (Introduction) LUNCH BREAK 2:00 to 2:50 - Facebook: Engage Your Community Here's some desriptive text that was used to describe a similar program in the past. The Agenda above is your best guide to what will be covered but the description below offers some additional information. Is your company on Facebook? Twitter? YouTube? LinkedIn? The old way of doing things isn't working anymore. Traditional advertising like newspapers, radio and TV are having a smaller impact every day ... yet they're still extremely expensive! Look around. The new companies that are stealing market share from the old industry leaders are all using social media marketing to engage their communities. This workshop will kick start your social media marketing strategy! Guaranteed. This powerful workshop analyzes specific tactics used by actual companies in real life situations. Patrick Schwerdtfeger presents successful case histories where organizations have leveraged Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube to increase revenue and brand awareness. For each platform, special attention will be paid to the tactics that contributed to the success. This workshop is perfect for corporate and/or division marketing teams. Social media is definitely the BUZZ! Everyone seems to be talking about it, and most major corporations are looking for ways to capitalize. There are two ways to get started. Your company could hire high-priced consultants to come up with ideas ... OR ... you could come to a workshop like this and learn about other companies who have already profited on social media platforms. About Patrick Schwerdtfeger: Patrick Schwerdtfeger is the author of “Webify Your Business, Internet Marketing Secrets for the Self-Employed” as well as “Make Yourself Useful, Marketing in the 21st Century”. He has spoken at technology conferences and marketing tradeshows in America, Canada and Europe. Patrick has been quoted in the Associated Press, Advertising Age, Naples Daily News (FL), The Bismark Tribune and The San Diego Union-Tribune, and been a featured guest on various radio stations including “Here and Now” on National Public Radio (NPR) and “Authors Unscripted”. About the resulting 6-DVD product: Once I get through the editing, this product will be packaged in a large plastic container with 6 DVDs, a workbook with all the handouts and a copy of my book, "Webify Your Business". I will be selling it for $199. Anyone who attends the recording session will be able to preorder the product for $99 but it will take me about a month to get everything finished and delivered. I hope you can attend! Cost: $25.00 |

AUGUST TOPIC: Building a Referral-Based Business How to get more business in the next 30 days than you got in the last 3 months! Do you know that you can dramatically cut back on your marketing by letting others do it for you? You probably get some of your clients by referral, but for most, this is something that happens only on occasion. Wouldn’t it be great to have a steady stream of prospects that were pre-qualified and already half-sold on your services? Creating this stream can take a little work at first, but once you get it going, finding good clients will get easier and easier. In this highly interactive presentation, you will learn: About Annette Bourget Annette Bourget is a small business development coach working with independent professionals such as Financial Advisors, Consultants and Insurance agents. She helps them get more clients, make more money and move to the next level in their businesses. Annette speakers regularly to groups and associations (including the Small Business Administration in San Francisco) on topics related to the marketing of service-based businesses. # # # Bring Business Cards! June Topic: Building Social Capital Whether you like it or not, as an entrepreneur, your success depends a great deal on how other people perceive you. From investors to clients to those who are simply browsing, the more positively they view your personally, the more positively they will view your work. All endeavors require 3 types of capital in varying proportions. They are financial, intellectual and social. Most business people focus on the first two and never bother to develop the third, believing it to be a natural or intrinsic ability. This misunderstanding is why many entrepreneurs with great ideas never get off the ground. All things being equal, people do business with people they like. Rare is the case where one proposal is far and away better than any other. When a person has to make a choice, he is undeniably swayed by his personal feelings. Learn how to tilt the scale in your favor! Success in social business meetings has more to do with preparation and mind set than any natural charisma. We don’t just teach you to be charming. We teach you behaviors that will help you close deals. Join us at the June meeting to learn how to properly conduct the mythical “Power Lunch.” It isn’t dead. We'll show you some very simple tricks to increase your power wattage and make you and your business more attractive to potential clients. Why lunch? Because before business gets to the boardroom, it has to get past the table where relationships are first developed. Lunch is that important step that takes you from a simple business card at a networking event to substantive meetings. Please join us for an evening that will measurably increase your ability to close more business. We do personal introductions during the first half. The first 52 people to arrive at the meeting will each get a playing card (from a traditional deck of cards) and will be able to make a 30-second personal introduction. March Topic: SEO & SEM SEO = Search Engine Optimization (organic traffic) SEM = Search Engine Marketing (paid traffic) This one is a "must-attend" I'll be covering SEO with four subheadings: Keyword Placement, Homepage Mentality, Link Building Tricks and Diagnostic Tools. I have used this same information to get dozens of websites on the first page of Google for targeted keyword phrases (some of them for members of our group). This stuff works. I guarantee it. I use these strategies every day. It's impossible to cover SEO in 25 minutes but we'll get through a lot. It'll be a bit rapid-fire but you'll leave with specific strategies to get your site to rank better on the search engines. I will also bring handouts with much of the information laid out for future reference. Those handouts will NOT be posted on our meetup page afterwards so you have to attend the meeting to get them. Kimberly Pointer will be covering SEM. She graduated from the University of Portland in 2004 with a BBA in Accounting and a minor in Psychology. After college, she worked for Moss Adams LLP as a financial statement auditor, and then for Umpqua Bank as an internal auditor. Later, Kimberly found her calling with Search Engine Marketing (SEM), as it marries both analytical and creative thinking. Currently working for Organic Bouquet in San Francisco, Kimberly specializes in web and cause marketing. Kimberly Pointer will be discussing the basics of Search Engine Marketing and why it’s an essential component of any successful business plan. Specifically, she'll focus on Google AdWords and will illustrate exactly how the program works and how to optimize your results. In addition, Kimberly will tie in the current financial crisis facing business owners and how to best leverage online campaigns during this difficult economic time. *** Bring business cards!! *** We'll be doing our usual introductions during the first half of the meeting, followed by a 15-minute networking break.
