[b]NEW FORMAT ...[/b] We are moving to a much larger 3-hour event format. It will cost $20 per person ($25 at the door) and will include light snacks. LOCATION: the Sheraton Four Points in Emeryville. The hotel is just off the Powell exit on the 80 freeway. There is plenty of parking. 6:00 to 6:45 - Open networking (food will arrive at 6:15) 6:45 to 7:30 - Introductions and Announcements 7:30 to 8:00 - Networking break 8:00 to 9:00 - Featured Presentation (described above) The first 52 people to arrive will get a playing card (from a traditional deck of cards), allowing them to make an introduction during the 7:00 to 7:45 time slot. We will still have the 2 Joker Cards available ($15 each) for 2-minute announcements from the front of the room. The room will be set up with round tables that seat 8 people each. At 6:15, food (light h'orderves) will be brought directly to the room and a cash bar will be available for drinks throughout the evening. We will also have 4 tables along the side of the room for exhibitors. Members will be able to rent these tables ($50 each, includes registration fee) and can use them to display, hand-out and/or sell products and services. Please contact the organizer at [masked] to reserve one of these tables (first come, first served). [b]Bring Business Cards![/b] We do personal introductions during the first half. The first 52 people to arrive at the meeting will each get a playing card (from a traditional deck of cards) and will be able to make a 30-second personal introduction. The 2 Joker cards are reserved for 2-minute announcements ($15 each) from the front of the room. The Joker cards are given out on a first come, first served basis. Lastly, we have a table at the side and you're welcome to bring flyers and promotional material to share with other members. The featured presentation will begin at 8:00, after a 30-minute networking break. [b]Refund Policy[/b] You will get a full refund if you cancel at least 2 days before the event. Your organizer's refund policy for April - Transform your Business Obstacles into Cashflow - Darren Jacklin

Refunds offered if:

  • the Meetup is cancelled
  • the Meetup is rescheduled
  • you can cancel at least 2 day(s) before the Meetup

Additional notes: The hotel requires that I submit my food order 48 hours prior to the event. At that point, I have a guaranteed minimum and get charged whether people show up or not. If you cancel within that 2-day period, I cannot offer a refund.
