Right now Fridays are the best time for me that is why I usually host on this night. If at all possible I try to attend the Saturday meetings as well. I will try to attend as many meetings as possible.
Well when I first got into anime I really only liked action/adventure. After I found this girl at work she showed me that there was so much more that anime offered like romantic comedies, drama. I have wide variety of anime that I like but if I had to narrow it down to some of my favorite genres which is difficult it would be as follows: Drama, Slice of Life, Supernatural, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Action or any combination of these.
I don't read Manga but I'm sure I would have tons of favorites if I did. My list of favorite anime is long so I will only list a few and they are not in any special order. Toradora, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Sword of the Stranger, Cowboy Bebop, Chobits, Outlaw Star, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Samurai Champloo, Spice and Wolf, Angel Beats, Bakemonogatari, Sola, To-love-ru, Summer Wars, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Kanon, Love Hina, Please Teacher, Please Twins, Panty and Stocking, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, True Tears, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Black Cat, Claymore, Full Metal Panic, Gurren Lagann, Ah My Goddess, Azumanga Daioh, Slayers, Akira, Zero no Tsukaima, Ano hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, Usagi Drop, Shakugan no Shana, High School of the Dead, Omamori Himari, Tower of Druaga, The Sacred Blacksmith. Anyways I could keep going but I'm running out of room and you get the idea I like me some anime :)
Through the anime convention SanJapan and yes I've told a few of my friends and my brothers about it. I try to promote the club whenever I get the chance. I hope if anyone has any questions or an interest in our great club please feel free to contact myself or any of the other members who are part of the leadership team. We really are a very relaxed and fun group who welcome all new comers to anime it doesn't matter how much or little you know about anime. Well I really like anime but I also have appreciation for other aspects of Japanese culture. I'm working at learning the language and have been studying it for about 2 years now. I'm looking forward to meeting new and interesting people!
We are a great, fun, easy going group. Plus anyone who likes anime this is the club for you.
