What: Achalasia Talk with Mr Soon

The talk will be given by Mr Soon, a surgeon with a special interest in achalasia at 8.30pm.

The exact content of the talk is to be decided. suggestions have been to include a definition, possible causes, long and short term prognoses, research and a view on therapies including accupuncture.

The evening will start at 7.30pm with a few people talking about their experiences, followed by questions and answers and informal discussions.

This is a rare opportunity to find out more about achalasia and to meet at least a dozen others living with the same condition.
