T-1.I.11. Prayer is the medium of miracles. 2 It is a means of communication of the created with the Creator. 3 Through prayer love is received, and through miracles love is expressed. It is impossible for a child of God to love his neighbor except as himself. 7 That is why the healer's prayer is: 8 Let me know this brother as I know myself.

Is prayer love? I personally believe all thoughts are a form of prayer. So it depends upon what our thoughts (prayer) are, evidenced by our intent (heart). Some prayers guide us to ourself (love) some raise blocks to ourself (fear). The following passages should be helpful.

M-21.1. Strictly speaking, words play no part at all in healing. The motivating factor is prayer, or asking. What you ask for you receive. But this refers to the prayer of the heart, not to the words you use in praying. Sometimes the words and the prayer are contradictory; sometimes they agree. It does not matter. God does not understand words, for they were made by separated minds to keep them in the illusion of separation. Words can be helpful, particularly for the beginner, in helping concentration and facilitating the exclusion, or at least the control, of extraneous thoughts. Let us not forget, however, that words are but symbols of symbols. They are thus twice removed from reality.

Great quote! Where is this found? All thoughts have energy. Loving thoughts have a very high energy. Much more than envy, jealously, or hate say. Is prayer a form of love?
