NOTE: The third Sunday series of events are not study groups, they are opportunities to connect teachers and students of A Course In Miracles with other spiritual aspirants and with the Washington D.C. area community. The 3rd Sunday events are community networking events to personally meet A Course In Miracles ("acim") teachers/students to share and to get to know each other better. We generally do not use the acim book during these events. Attendees who sit at the spiritual networking table often discuss acim and other spiritual ideas and how they are applying them in their lives, see discussion message board.

Once you meet the participants in person, you'll be able to connect the name and the face. This is an opportunity to perceive everybody as friends and allies and to practice forgiveness if anything or anyone does not meet your expectations. You and only you are responsible for your own expectations. We hope you will come with an intention to enjoy a happy experience, no matter what, accept "what is" and notice your "self-talk" about "what is."

This could be an opportunity to practice principles of A Course In Miracles which include non-judgment, no condemnation, choosing to be happy no matter what, perceiving others as friends and allies who mirrow the energy of Love and joy. 

Some students of A Course In Miracles are also students of Dr. David R. Hawkins as well as many other spiritual books including Conversations with God. Come and share your spiritual insights with others in the community. You'll meet people from diverse backgrounds which is great for people who like to people who are not only spiritual but also successful professionals, business owners, community leaders and nonprofit managers. 

WHO: THE THIRD SUNDAY COMMUNITY EVENTS ARE ORGANIZED BY ACIM STUDENTS FOR PEOPLE OF ALL BACKGROUND INTERESTED IN SPIRITUAL, ECONOMIC AND PERSONAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

WHEN: 12:30PM TO 2:30P ON THE THIRD SUNDAYS OF EACH MONTH 8/15, 9/19, 10/17, 11/21, 12/19 OF 2010

COST: FREE FOR ADMISSION AND NETWORKING; SELF PAY FOR DRINK OR MEAL THAT YOU ORDER.
