This group is for everyone interested in A Course In Miracles ("acim") and talking with people interested in acim, spiritual topics and similar philosophies....this group will be at a table for people interested in more joy and spiritual discussions over lunch. This is also an opportunity to meet in person teacher(s) and student(s) of acim so that you can continue conversations online, through email, phone, message boards, etc. This acim-spiritual group is part of the Friendship Archway Alliance so you can also meet members of many other similar Meetup groups co-sponsored by the same nonprofit organization. We come together at the same time on the 3rd Sundays for general networking.
A Course in Miracles (lesson 61, workbook page 102, says "I am the Light of the world." If you seek Enlightenment and your intention is to serve humanity, please come and introduce yourself to the Organizer Committee leaders who share your intention. Discover several fascinating opportunities if you are in-between jobs and are ready to serve to move toward higher levels of awareness.
Many students/teachers of ACIM are part of the host committee so they may be circulating and not sitting at the acim table. You can talk to them after you finish your lunch. Please practice ACIM principles of being truly helpful and perceiving the Divinity in others, being unattached to your personal expectations or form, etc. Once you have connected in person, if you like, you can arrange study group activities or mutual support or telephone coaching. Let the Organizers know if you wish to organize followup study groups.
This is a step toward leaving the past behind and beginning to practice and apply the principles of ACIM with new contacts ie. be forgiving and be willing to be truly helpful , moving ahead by helping out. If you are interested in helping to develop a spiritual, wellness and creative center in Wash. DC, please introduce yourself to the co-organizers and ask for the .
