Cloud Computing Atlanta Meetup - Impact of NSA programs on Cloud Business

  • Jul 9, 2013 · 7:00 PM

Greetings All,

I'll be hosting tonight.

For our topic, I'd like to have an open discussion on the potential impact the NSA spying programs might have on US-based cloud businesses and users.

One specific item I plan to bring up is understanding the effect your SSL (HTTPS) certificates and cipher-suite configuration can have on protecting your users from offline decryption attacks.

Please come with any cloud security questions you might have. NSA agents also welcome!

Thanks,

- Chris

Link to Qualys SSL was great when added to the whole discussion.

Yes, it was a great discussion. The link was very useful. Ironically enough, google was having some issues earlier this morning. Makes me wonder if they were being attacked.
