This is a group for acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Dobro, Violin, Harps, Percussion, Bass, Lead Guitar (and the like) players and music lovers to come together to have a good time. The music styles will very from Jam to Jam from covers to originals. Jam cords are kept simple (3-5 cords) for others to follow and chime in.

The open jam forum is typicaly an opportunity to lead your song of choice while others chime in. If you choose to pass, that's okay too! We currently have several differant jams in the twin cities. We encourge other to host jams as well.

For those persons that have never had the opprotunity to be part of an open jam forum - you're in for a treat to learn, teach and meet others with the same interest and taking your talent to the next level and perhaps develop something within your own reach and goals. We've had many players go beyond the open jam forum to open mic and to paid performances. I'm proud to announce they used six strings as the beginning foundation to help over come the fear of on stage performances.

For me personally; I have learned a ton while having fun and making friends. I now host my own closed jam performance. A great templet for anyone wishing to start a plug-in jam.

All ages & skill levels are welcome. You don't have to be a musician to join this group but you at least need a love of music! All spectators are welcome!
