Rattlesnake Ledge is a very popular moderate hike to a nice viewpoint. It can be very crowded but Fall weather will probably thin the crowd. From the ledge, if you continue about two more miles to East Peak; it makes it a moderately long hike. The low elevation means we have a good chance of not walking in the snow.

Since it is Fall, we may hit bad weather so please bring your pack with the ten essentials and extra layers. If we get snow, traction devices are advised.
We'll carpool from the Supermall, please bring $$$ for your driver. The Rattlesnake parking lot is paved and there is no cost or permits needed. We'll start walking at 9:30
Unsafe weather will cancel the trip but we'll go rain or shine.

Looks like snow- bring your spikes, poles, & gaiters. We may even need snowshoes to make the top. I'm not bringing mine and I plan to turn back if it gets too deep. I'm sure we can find a pub where we can talk about hiking rather than doing it.

I raised the number on this hike to 16 since this trail can take the extra volume and I have not seen the 12 person restriction placed on forest service trails. See you out there.
