Puff is a 48 lb male, mixed-breed shelter rescue, resembling a small Labrador Retriever to some extent. Coming up on about ten years of age, he's in excellent health, still has good energy, and charms with a warm personality.
We're looking for comaraderie and the reward of shared outdoor adventures with like-minded pack members. A zest for the simple things in life, like an exhilarating hike in the rain, is what we bring.
Ideal for us is a four to eight mile day-hike in Shenandoah National Park. We prefer to tackle the thousand feet elevation changes in the cooler months, but have soldiered on in the heat of July and August. One scramble up and over a rocky waterfall (Rose River Falls) disclosed a bit of billy goat somewhere in Puff's lineage!
No, nothing so formal. I'm training Puff with a pack and increasing weight for multi-night camping.
Hi, I'm Brad.
