Introduction
I have an adopted Chi/Pin. Going thru a divorce. Always had big dogs. This is my first little dog but he acts like a big dog. Rocky's had a hard life. He is socializing well (and I'm coming out of my shell too now). We like people who like dogs.
Please describe the dog(s) you own: name, breed, age, sex, etc... so we can get to know a little more about our new pack member(s)!
Rocky is 10, male, neutered, Chi/Pin mix. He had an awful life until he was rescued by K9 Lifesavers. I adopted him 2 yrs ago. It can take him 5 mins to stop acting like 'he's all that' but he settles down quickly.
What are you looking for in a trail club? Describe what you hope to get out of the group and what can you contribute to the group.
Meet other people who enjoy hiking/walking trails with their dogs and give Rocky more opportunities to be the social butterfly that he is. I could be persuaded to bring cookies occasionaly.
What does your ideal day outdoors involve? Please give the name and location of your favorite local hike or walk and describe the trail for us. Is it rocky, is there much elevation change, does it involve water, etc...
Anything outdoors. I golf, ski, kayack and hike. I live in Occoquan Forest. We have trails by the Occ. river where we walk our dogs and they can play in the river. We go to Kinchloe, Bull Run Marina, and Signal Hill Park.
Have you and your dog(s) earned any titles or are you working towards any titles? Agility, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), working dog, pack dog, water dog, therapy dog, etc... ???
Rocky and I have not competed in anything but my German Shepherd (now passed on) came in 6th in Virginia in the Frisbee catching contest. Great dog. That was a long time ago.

Thank you Deborah! Niko is an English Setter, five years old, and yes, he does shed a LOT! He's my second Setter, the first was a Gordon and he just may be the laziest Setter EVER!

Oh you are so sweet! I already have plans to go to Cameron Hills and booked a tee time a couple of days ago. Maybe we can go to General's Ridge next weekend. Do you have a Groupon for that? I think that was one of the 3 PWC groupon's.

Thanks! I'm excited to be able to meet up with the group to play. I'm not that familiar with courses in the area yet -- but I live basically across the street from the Oak Marr driving range.

Hi Deborah: Count me in for playing on Labor Day. I called General's Ridge and got a 9:06am T-time for 4 players for 9 holes. My husband said he'd be in for joining us if we need a player to help make a foursome.
