Please describe the dog(s) you own: name, breed, age, sex, etc... so we can get to know a little more about our new pack member(s)!

Spencer is a 12 year old male Tibetan Terrier, Kashi is a 6 year old little mystery girl rescued from a Pasadena, CA shelter.

What are you looking for in a trail club? Describe what you hope to get out of the group and what can you contribute to the group.

We like to hang out with other dogs and dog people in lovely natural areas, especially wooded trails. We only do fairly easy hikes these days, since Spencer has slowed down a bit, Kashi's legs are really short, and my knees aren't what they used to be.

What does your ideal day outdoors involve? Please give the name and location of your favorite local hike or walk and describe the trail for us. Is it rocky, is there much elevation change, does it involve water, etc...

Arboretum, Rock Creek Park (back trails), Riverbend Park, Lake Accontick...

Have you and your dog(s) earned any titles or are you working towards any titles? Agility, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), working dog, pack dog, water dog, therapy dog, etc... ???

Both are pretty well trained but we haven't gone the formal title route.

Introduction

I'm an Ecologist, living in DC. Spencer and Kashi and I love to hike with other dogs and their people, always looking for new walking buddies and spots, especially easy - to -moderate level wooded trails. We're all pretty easy to get along with.
