Sorry for the short notice, but the Las Vegas Rescue needs 4 volunteers to assist with the dinner service TODAY, Feb 2nd from 6-8pm.
Due to a prior engagement, I am unable to attend but if you can help the LVRM this evening, they would greatly appreciate it.
Upon arrival, let them know at the security gate you are with A.O.K and will be volunteering in the kitchen. Head to the kitchen and the LVRM kitchen staff will provide you with further instructions.
Duties will include dishing up the cuisine of the evening, filling water glasses, passing out the utensils, salt, pepper, hot sauce and helping with the clean-up in the kitchen. No past experience working in a kitchen required. Stylish aprons, hairnets and gloves will be provided by the LVRM. If you prefer to work the serving line please wear long pants.
When you arrive at the security gate, please be sure to tell the guard that you are with A.O.K. There is plenty of secured parking on site.
When volunteering at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission you must read the volunteer Code of Conduct. All volunteers must abide by these rules of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. The Code of Conduct is located in the A.O.K. files. Volunteers for this event are asked to dress modestly and to wear closed toe shoes.
Thanks for your help, if you have questions feel free to email me at [masked].
